I played Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra as the solo violinist. The highlight of this concert was when my two-year-old was lifted onto the stage and shared a cute and special moment with me at the end of the performance. It was her first time seeing so many people clapping in front of her!

Tchaikovsky Piano Trio with Zuill Bailey—I was five months pregnant at the time!
My piano trio was invited to perform for the Juneau Piano Series. During this concert, I held the longest fermata of my performance career. It comes at the end of the first repeat in the last movement of this piece, and it is quite hilarious.
When I became the director of the Northern Lights String Orchestra (NLSO), there were only seven players. Three years later, there were 35 players on stage in concert. I am proud of the growth of this orchestra, and I am thankful for the support from the community.
Performing Alaskan composer Craig Coray’s “Rhapsody” for solo violin in Patagonia, Arizona. Coray is also an ethnomusicologist who specializes in Alaska Native music. With his guidance, I was able to develop and teach Alaska Native music at UAF.
“Again, We Hug” for piano, violin, and vocals is an original composition that I wrote during the COVID pandemic, wishing for a hopeful future. I had great fun exploring singing, recording, and audio and video editing with this project.
